Upon the recommendation of one member, seconded by another member, and by a three fourths (3/4) vote at the annual meeting, Emeritus membership can be conferred upon any Active member in the Association who has attained the age of 65, who has been in active medical practice for thirty (30) years, or who is permanently incapacitated.
An Emeritus member shall have none of the obligations of the Active membership in the Association and may not hold office, but shall be entitled to the privileges of making motions and of voting.
